Original article “Black is beautiful” so they claim. Before you go ahead and read, kindly close your eyes and try to picture God and tell me what colour he is. White, isn’t he! Imagining God as a black man is certainly a blasphemy of inexcusable proportion and punishable by the eternal burning fire of hell. Anybody with such a weird imagination must rush to the nearest psychiatrist as a matter of urgency. Yet they want you to believe that being black is anything to be proud of. No! Not me.
You can go ahead and give me sinister looks, swear at me, and threaten to bewitch me but as a matter of fact, I uncompromisingly hate black people. There is something about blacks that escapes rational explanations. They remain a puzzle that cannot be solved either by laws of science or by mathematical calculations. They are just amazing!
The worst mistake the white man has ever done the black man is to grant him independence. Blacks have over decades demonstrated beyond any reasonable doubt that they cannot govern themselves. They have actually proven that colonialism and apartheid were the most suitable systems to govern blacks. After they chased the white man away, all that was achieved was greatly reversed or obliterated in endless civil wars, punctuated by coups, and counter-coups. |

We use this phrase to describe those who think they are better than others.
The know-it-alls who think for everybody and want to tell us what to do.
People who like things are those who will shout from roof tops when they think it will give them some prominence.
Ever since we were children I have encountered people who like things. In my grown up years they are still around. They never miss the opportunity to be seen and heard.
Well, people who like things are back in vogue again. This time they are showing their true colours because of the calamity that occurred in Haiti.
They are on the radio and newspapers. They are even on television. They are telling us to come to the aid of Haiti. They are asking us to donate clothing and money to assist the people of that poor little island. |

If they don’t learn anything from it, then I throw up my hands in despair and give up.
Let’s start with a few basic facts.
Until the earthquake, I never knew there was a place called Haiti. I was taught geography at school but I cannot remember a time when the mistress told us about Haiti. It must have been one of those insignificant countries that we had no reason to know about. |

Self styled religious prophet Pieter White is on an ambitious mission of love from God, but his efforts have been temporarily derailed by charges that he tried to kill a fellow believer in a row over sex across the colour line.
White says God appointed him prophet of his "Jesurun Brotherhood" church. He was in court with three followers this week after trouble erupted in the brotherhood's paradise - the farm Grootdam in the Western Cape Karoo. Grootdam, about 100km from the fruit-growing town of Ceres, is intended to be the first of a global chain of whites-only kibbutzim. White, who says he has received visions from God for 33 years, interprets the Bible to say only whites can be Christians.
